About Us
Brickmongers Wessex Ltd, based in the Meon Valley Hampshire, was formed on the 1st July 2009, and is a subsidiary of Brickmongers Ltd of West Sussex. The company is run by Richard Manthorpe, who with 25 years experience of selling bricks in the industry; saw a gap in the market. He wanted to establish his own business with a leading edge in customer focussed service, as all too often building materials are supplied by Multinational companies who for one reason or another have lost that ‘personal touch’. This together with the ability to buy and sell at ultra competitive prices has allowed Brickmongers Wessex Ltd to become a leading supplier of bricks across the region.
Drawing on this experience gained from selling bricks into the area and from the feedback of its customers, Brickmongers Wessex Ltd has built on its success and reputation and evolved to become a specialist in external building materials.

Because we deal with enquiries at an early stage and indeed normally well before construction commences, we are in an ideal position to be a single source for all external materials, and in fact were first introduced to the idea by various clients who liked our personal approach and keen prices, but asked why we do not have a more comprehensive range of products. Taking notice of this request, we have sourced products from all corners of the market; using manufacturers both nationally and from abroad, to fine tune a package of materials, especially suited for the outer skin of any building. The result of this endeavour has produced a portfolio of materials to cater for every budget, with an eye on value for money, quality, performance and aesthetic appeal, giving our customers a feeling of total satisfaction.
By concentrating on products purely for the outer skin of any building, our portfolio allows our customer’s to focus their attention in one direction, affording them comfort in the knowledge that all the leg work of Material selection has already been done, thus freeing their time for other, perhaps more pressing matters.
